New tool released in that last couple months, and it has gone up $10 already at other retailers.
I bought one for my tow truck friend, and he loves it. Much more suited for his line of work over the M12.
$180 seems way to much but $130-140 seems reasonable when compared to the M12 offering. As the M12 is still slowly but surely working for me, I'd need the M18 to get a bit closer to $100.
Should be return all or nothing on products with a free items, like every other retailer on the planet. What would you prefer?

They show the breakdowns of the deals on the receipts, both online and in store. They also have similar deals listed in packages as well, without breaking down the items values on receipts. As long as its been going on, and as long as its been posted online about the "hack", Im sure they know. They must still have incentive or profit in it to still be allowing it to happen.Should be return all or nothing on products with a free items, like every other retailer on the planet.
If I'm understanding you, this would be the opposite of what we all like. When there is a promo we can return the battery or the tool for a discount on the one we want to keep. Or just keep both if we want to. Why do you want a return all or nothing? This is less flexibility. I don't understand your viewpoint here. Can you explain why you want an all or nothing promo?Should be return all or nothing on products with a free items, like every other retailer on the planet.
It's spelled JohnKal, right? Can you spell troll?
Home depot doesn't pay outright for Milwaukee tools. It's all on consignment to TTI. They probably get paid monthly or quarterly so all the buy/return items all average out on the payment terms. It also drives traffic to their store and they know you will spend more so they're pretty lax on returns in general. They show the breakdowns of the deals on the receipts, both online and in store. Great price on Packout. Ordered a 2-drawer last month from NAPA for $124 but had to return due to shipping damage. Notified NAPA customer service that Packouts are tough but can't tolerate drops/toss/stacked shipping damage outside of a box.M18 Inflator already seeing a $10 price hike. you might want to buy the M18 air compressor. I have one and the M12 inflator and just ordered the M18 inflator .Just watched this video, and noticed that the hose doesn't seem to be externally removable (to replace with a longer one, etc.). I wonder if the chuck can be upgraded?

Which retailers don't do it like HD? Every time I have bought a deal with a free item they do distribute the price among the items. Same thing for coupons. Lowes, Advance, Autozone, BestBuy, etc. all do it that way. I'm really curious if you have found any retailer that does do it differently.Should be return all or nothing on products with a free items, like every other retailer on the planet.
I had a $5 NAPA reward to use on top of the discount - made this deal too good to resist so I placed an order for store pickup today. Thanks for sharing!M18 Inflator already seeing a $10 price hike. Still $169 at Napa, and 20% off this weekend.

It does chew through the batteries.I have 6, 5 and 3 amp M18 batteries. In one of the inflator review videos I watched, they were running an 8 or 9 amp battery.
I'm expecting the 6 amp to handle most of my needs.

Also, the M12 RA die grinder in my cart has dropped to $140. I can get for $80 after points cash.
Is it worth it to rehab a 6 year old grill? I dont do any metal work
My cart on Amazon.Where do you see that for $140???

While I'm not one to encourage spending just based on feelings, can't you just buy what you want, pay for it with paypal using the card normaly, and then redeem your cash back as a statement credit?Im itching for some new Red, but not sure what I want or need lol.
Ive got some Discover cash back in PayPal, and get 5% back with Discover using PayPal, so Im trying to work out vendors that have deals and take PayPal to maximize the deal. HD does PayPal, but doesnt give option to use the existing cash back like other vendors.
Exactly what I was thinking. Maximize your cash back by paying for it normally without points/cash back. Then paying for it as a credit with your points/cash back.pay for it with paypal using the card normaly, and then redeem your cash back as a statement credit?

Obviously with all the shoplifting they experience, corporate must believe a poor profit sale is better than a sale that walks out the door without paying anything..They show the breakdowns of the deals on the receipts, both online and in store. ...Is this a “deal hack,” or misuse of a store’s return policy?
To be frank, it doesn’t matter to me how you see it. I’ve steered away from this topic for years, as it’s too easily abused (especially by resellers), and I didn’t want to give anyone ideas.
But given how often I am now asked about “deal hacking,” I figured it was time to post about it..
The practice has been so prevalent that Home Depot and other retailers must be clued in by now. Maybe they don’t mind as much as one would think, especially if a return brings you back to the store. But, I would guarantee they’re watching sales and returns data, as well as inventory numbers.
Should the “tool deal return hack” practice become more the norm than the exception, Home Depot could easily defeat it, by switching to more single-SKU bundles, changing the return policy, or any number of other ways...
