You can still do them separate while they do the starter kit + free tool. In stock still. Put the starter kit in cart and the inflator tool only in cart and they apply the promo in cart.

Well you guys made me do it. I ordered the m18 inflator. Might even keep the batteries too. My current m18 battery stable is 2 5s, a 9, and 2 12s, so another pair isn't a bad idea. I'd much rather that pair be anything other than 5s, though.

I need a grease gun, anyone see a deal (or generic % off sale) on the Milwaukee ones?

I just bought a backhoe. Haven't even tried counting the grease zerks yet!

Quite certain Home Depot has the M12 with a free 4 amp. Otherwise I have one available.
For majority of gressing, the M12 is more than adequate, unless you get into large old crusty tractor implements, or a lot of your equipment gives you the pump counts to fill. Then the M18 is the one to look at

edit: so its a deal you can pro-rate. you can either buy the bare grease gun for $179 with free separate 4ah in cart you could return, OR if you if you need more batteries, the $199 grease kit with 3ah in the kit, plus free 4ah (all or nothing return)

Not much deal wise...
M18 (2646) bare: Blains Farm&Fleet 204 ($7 ship usually), Amazon 209, Home Repo 229.
M12 (2446) 180 bare, 220 with XC 3Ah, 319 with XC 3Ah & XC 6Ah & charger at Home Depot.
Acme $$
If you use M18 but are not fixed on Milwaukee, might look at Ridgid and Dewalt units (no idea on quality/features) and get a battery adapter off Amazon if it makes $ sense.

Thanks guys! I'll probably buy the M18 version. That's my battery platform, it looks like it has great features and gets good reviews. And, the bare tool price isn't significantly higher than the M12.

I don't need this "tomorrow" so I'm hoping to find a better deal, even just a kit with a case.

The hard case can be hard to come by, if you are looking for that. New kits now come in a contractor cloth case. After getting the hard case, I realize now the grease gun lives on a shelf, and has no need to be squirrelled away. Other than helping a neighbor out once, it's only travel is from one side of the barn to the other.

I bought the M18 inflator deal. I use the two different stores for pickup technique. I wait till the item I want is ready, pick it up, and then call the store with the other item and cancel it or wait longer and they cancel the order because I haven't picked it up.

The M12 inflator is going to stay in main family vehicle and the m18 will stay in the garage.

no. need two sku's in your cart. the time it was 'hackable' was last quarter, when the buy kit, get tool free was the promo. now they are trying to get rid of the kits. same promo, but can't get pro-rated prices

So they're trying to get rid of the hackable deals now?

Did anyone take advantage of Acme Tool's price glitch over the M18 Chopsaw with TWO 12Ah batteries? Does anyone recall the price?

Grabbed one of these for a family member that just said they wanted one. Seems like a decent deal.

Me too. Watching my brother in law struggle with a broom and a lot of leaves.

For yard duty my M18 blower works great but all these type of OPE burn thru batteries in short time so work fast and efficiently.

Yea 5.0s are like the equivalent of 10 round magazines here in CA. I much prefer a 12.0, but those don't seem to come around in deals all that often. I probably should have went for the chop saw deal afterall.

I also struggle with a broom—let me know if you want to help ;) Just kidding—and seriously that’s a very kind to do!
Man HD making me work for this one. Need to pickup 6 miles away instead of getting it shipped :( I'll live and hopefully my family member will be happy.

$319 + tax. My second order of batteries arrived this morning. All complete now
I believe you. Acme Tools is one of those rare retailers that always sticks to its word. That was a way better deal than the Home Depot one where it included only one battery for $299 despite being hackable where the 12.0Ah battery can be had for $143+tax :)

I look forward to more price glitches at the end of this month

Its really funny how prices on these things haven't gone up despite inflation - makes you wonder

I hate bags, and much prefer hard cases, for a variety of reasons (stackable, more protection, less likely for things to get buried at the bottom).

Do you have a hard case for the M18 grease gun you'd like to sell?

I'd kinda like to get a bag for the M18 inflator, anybody know of a good one that fits well?

Harbor Freight has some nice Hercules and Bauer tool bags. Probably be a coupon for Columbus Day if you can wait.

Fits great in an 18 inch one.

M18.jpg

I picked up the 16-inch Bauer from HF, recommended by @wire above. It fits like a glove, and though it was cheap enough at regular price ($15), they gave me 15% off, so I was out the door for under $14, including tax.

Cripe Distributing has Milwaukee 16 inch ones for like $24

Credit ebay thread in hot deals

Cool!

One "plus" of a HF (non-Milwaukee) bag: thieves might see that in the back of my truck and ignore it???

LOL...

Unfortunately that listing has a $12.80 shipping charge. :(

But the bag is $11.50 so $24 total as I stated.

Cripe is good about combining shipping if you contact them, and they do support the GJ site. They have a lot of good stuff, you could find some other items and combine the shipping and do better.

Been looking for a deal on a m12 grease gun, stumbled upon this deal on Home Depot’s website that doesn’t show up when you search for the gun. It’s a bare tool with a 4ah XC battery for $199. Seems to be the best deal around for the gun and a battery.

That's actually the kit (3ah XC in kit) with free 4ah.
All the current M12 & M18 grease gun deals were posted several entries above (2-3 days back).

So it looks like the M12 bare tool is a free item option with one of the more expensive kits:
You can buy both and return the kit. Gets the M12 grease gun down to $126.30 if you need just the tool.

I missed it, I see it now. Did not realize it came with a 3ah also, just more batteries I’ll need tools for haha

Toolnut has 15% off almost all milwaukee stuff. Good for that stuff that doesnt go on sale often. I would have already pulled the trigger on a couple things but its not letting me order the new M12 bandfile, so I'm going to go kick rocks in my sandbox and pout
