The 16 gauge nails are pretty thin. I think I probably should have bought the 15 gauge instead. I have the 23 and 18 gauge as well. 15 would have been a better next size in hindsight.

Yes, they surely do, and this seems like a nice benefit of the M18
The fact that the Paslode guns have an extra consumable would tip the scales for me with that decision.

In other news, there is an M12 promo at HD right now with a returnable 5.0 battery:
You have to click the little free gift thing on the page:

Lots of kits in there, some interesting ones.

I have a Paslode Cordless Angled Finish Nailer from HD, still in the box. $429 retail price. I’m thinking to trade it in for the M18 16 ga. Nailer kit—$399 retail price. Any reason not to do this? I don’t have any other nailers right now, so am not married to a system yet (and thinking I want to get married to M18 system overall so thinking this is the right move).
I have several battery platforms (unfortunately) but have nevertheless chosen to use Paslode framing and finish nailers. My reasoning is that battery-powered framing nailers and finishing nailers are still too large and heavy IMHO. The Paslodes in comparison are much more enjoyable to use. If you have Popeye arms then maybe this isn't a consideration for you though. I feel that the gas cartridges are a nice tradeoff for the smaller size and weight.

I also really like that the Paslodes are totally rebuildable.

Brad (18ga) nailers may be a different story. The existing battery-powered brad nailers are still a bit large and clunky IMO, but much more manageable than 16ga, 15ga, and framers. I had a Ryobi 18V and sold it because it was not enjoyable to use. I'm hoping a lightweight battery-powered model comes to market soon (maybe even 12V).

Paslode doesn't make a pin nailer (23ga). I currently have a Ryobi 18V pin nailer, but it is too large/heavy for its purpose. I am planning on replacing it with the new Milwaukee 12V model as soon a a good deal comes along.

Thanks for the thoughtful reply!

Home depot has a glitch where buy more save more is double.

Just got a few things at 75% off. Probably won't last too long but worth a try if you need stuff.

Not quite sure I understand. Buy anything or certain items? do you just start adding stuff to your cart and it applies more discounts?

Wouldn't suprise me if they cancel my order tbh.

It was items on their buy more save more promo only.

There was a glitch in the system. Only for a couple hours earlier.

Home Depot is known for usually sending out anything that is ordered. Yes there are times that they actually do run out of inventory, but typically you're going to get what's ordered

No worries. I think you got lucky. Seems like there a lot of glitches in customer's favor these days. Just have to be quick!

I have my HD cart ready to go now in case another glitch happens.

Can anyone point me to any deals on the Milwaukee M18 inflator? I have the M12, but I think I'd like to give the M18 a try.

Thanks, but that's a bit more than some of the other places that I've found so far. I was thinking I saw it for around $100.00 over Christmas. I see Amazon has it for around $140.00. I'll keep looking as I'm in no hurry. I appreciate the response.

My experience with JB Tools on Amazon has been you won't know if they have the item or not and they may assign it a shipping label and wait a week or so before cancelling. Of course ymmv but I choose to look for better sellers.

Got this off of slickdeals. It is a YMMV. HD is clearing out the 7 1/4" circ saw kit that comes with a 6.0. It is an extra 100 dollars off in store:

If you can find one in store, they are going for 199.

The router is part of the current buy more save more promotion but that is the only deal on it I know of right now.

It was in a hard to see place locked up with a yellow tag that said $103 is all I can tell.
amazing for both tools, charger, and two batteries. It was the only one they had. I have the 1st gen of these tools, but left my drill in the rain.

Is this a good deal on the Milwaukee M12 3/8 inch impact wrench No 2554? If you have this impact wrench, are you happy with it? Do you know if HD runs this deal frequently? Thanks folks.

There was a deal about a month ago on that for $169, I think it was left over holiday stock: https://www.garagejournal.com/forum...er-tools-deal-permathread.379615/post-9934951

I was able to find one in my local HD, but haven't used it yet.

Big YMMV, but I got this today at my local Home Depot for $103!
Good deal on the Gen 3 fuel kit, I bought the same set at my local for $119 around the holidays, was in the clearance area marked down with a yellow tag. These are discontinued for the newer generation but still great tools.

These guys are a decent seller. The only problem I've had with them is on a backorder. I had to email them about 2-3 months later and they got in gear and got me my stuff.

Now if only I had something I specifically wanted/needed...

Still an OK deal when you price out the separate components but they were marked down to $199 and eventually $169 yellow tag clearance after the holidays. The online price has never changed.
