I just installed a new LG system and had a grest time getting it done. The local A/C contractor came over and thought it turned out very neat. If anyone needs some current thoughts or where to buy on-line, my info is fresh.

Hey tbent - definitely would like your recommendations on where to buy. I'm looking for about a 24k btu heat pump unit with electric back up heat. I presume the units you bought had pre-charged lines.

Thanks,
Tom

I bought the 18k unit with heat element they also have a 24k unit with element. They come precharged and are easy to install!

I'm planning on the 24kBTU heat pump with electric backup heat from Ramsond. Seems like a really good deal and you get AC too. We all know that the bulk of the cost of having ANYTHING done is the labor, so doing this ourselves saves a ton.

I will be installing something like this soon, any info you can provide will be great. Local contractor wanted $4800 to put in a 18000 btu split cooling system!!!
