Go bigger and install a rock waterfall urinal like at the Madonna Inn (San Luis Obispo, CA) :)
I make it a point to stop there for a pit stop whenever I drive on that part of 101.

Not in a shop, but from a small residential addition. You could just replace the shower wall (the one that has the shower valve in it) with a framed wall and pocket door to make it a half bath.

I don't know how small you want to go, but this bath was set up to provide about 3'x7' for the commode and sink. It could definitely be shortened to 6 feet and still have space for most people. However, the goal was to allow someone with mobility issues enough space to get into the toilet area. We used a handicap height extended bowl toilet to the left and and a wall hung sink to the right. There are 2"x10"s running horizontally, centered at about 36", to provide a place to mount grab bars around the toilet areas and a mounting point for wall hung sink.

I designed and plumbed my to be a 3x5 toilet "closet" with a pocket door. Then on the outside I will have a shop sink. Need to get around to running the drain line so I can actually finish it.

We're adding a bathroom to a garage, it's necessity, 200' from the house. My wife said why not add a shower as well, only need a 5 x 5 area, build it right and be happy, 25 sq ft is not much in a big shop like yours.

Consider the purpose of having a bath "ROOM" in your shop. Back in my younger days lots of houses had a shower in the garage or basement. All that separated it from the rest of the area was a shower curtain. Some sort of curtain could provide a degree of privacy. You also need to consider what you will be wearing when you use the shop facilities. I'm a fat old geezer with an unheated garage/shop. In colder weather I wear a coat in the shop. The "urge" always seems to come when my hands are covered with grease. A trip to the facility requires (if I can control the urge) washing off the grease, then taking off my coat before I drop my pants. It's nice to have room to hang my coat. Having a sink suggests the need for a towel rod or paper towel dispenser (with a wastebasket)

If you are concerned about privacy, you also should consider the need for a vent fan. In my younger days I visited a client's office. It was in an 1890's building that originally had a front room and a back room for storage. The bathroom was in the back room centered on the dividing wall,. The building had ceilings about 14' high. At some point in time someone had taken out the wall separating the front and back rooms. They enclosed the bathroom with 8' high panels, but no ceiling. One day I used the facilities for a rather urgent call of nature. When I finished my business I walked out of the bathroom to find the front door of the building open and all employees outside on the sidewalk.

im a firm believer in no walls, no bathrooms, no office, no tool room, the best shop is just wide open space. doors take up s[ece, so no closets or spare room. it just become a warehouse. gotta go, head to the house, too much coffee, hang it out the door, to me the best shop 60x80 with nothing in it

Seeing as you already have a sink, and I think you are a 1 or 2 man shop, you could save a lot of space with a labyrinth setup, essentially just enough wall coverage so you don't have to look at other people while taking care of business. Not having to work around the radius swing of the door I believe is the best space-saver.

If you are looking for the minimum I'd do a 3'X5' toilet room with a pocket door. Since that means you will have water and sewage for the garage, I'm assuming you will also have some kind of deep sink, either a stainless restaurant style or a laundry tub in the garage. Do your hand washing there.

EDIT: I see Nadogall had the same idea. Oh, and don't forget the magazine rack, decent lighting and a shelf for spare rolls of TP.

What is this magazine thing that you speak of? Some sort of ancient reading device that doesn't use electricity? 🤔
