Right now I'm just using them for rotating the tires on my daily drivers all of which have stock steel wheels & whatever else comes up. I like the 10-36mm sets that grey pneumatic has which would cover everything I would ever do but have several sizes that would never get used. Goal for right now was to get sae & metric in both shallow & deep in the sizes mostly used. The 1/4" set of grey impact sockets on tooltopia looks also like a good deal. Thinking when I get a better set of impacts that these can be used as regular 6pt sockets so it won't really be money out like buying a junk tool that has no other use. Are the Grey pneumatic sockets higher quality & worth upgrading over these? Another option would be to get single S&K or Snapons in the most used sizes & keep the cheapies for easy stuff. EdNJ & TNToy, were you doing real heavy duty hammering on them when they broke, if so, what brand of socket will stand up to this without breaking?
Thanks,
Steve
