Does anyone have the mityvac mv6410 or similar
Is it worth a couple hundred dollars?

Yeah I know you can use a $3 HF pump but the neatness of the job cannot be compared. Plus some of the factory atf is so pricey you don’t want to spill much.

What cars are you working on?

As far as I know, Honda does not recommend any kind of machine/pump for ATF service. There is a drain plug and filling hole, basically the same as oil change.

Spills can be minimized by using a tubing at the end of funnel.

At least for Honda, MV6410 is useless.

It will be various makes mostly Japanese but since ATF is not changed that often I probably can’t justify the cost.

It should just send fluid into the filler port easily and fill the transmission.
With some different adapters with different threads so it fits fill port nicely
Adding up to few quarts and a time with a ball valve to stop and resume the flow as needed.
Relatively simple similar to a motive bleeder.

The point was not to pressurize the transmission to force fluid out like a flush. Although it look like it possibly could pressurize if not careful.

Here are all the adapter's it comes with.
Some of them are just angled tubes, but it can be handy comparing to jamming some vinyl hoses into the fill port.

hand pump sprayer at home depot for 20$ it works perfect. i had to change some fluid in a new audi and its 37$ a quart

We’ve got one at work, works great. I think oem tools makes a less expensive one

I made my own from a garden sprayer. Have a ball valve on it and a industrial grade shark bite type of fitting on it that accepts 1/2" tubing and copper pipes. I made a few different adapters from soft copper tubing. Also have some threaded adapters for doing things like filling Ford trannys that have a threaded hole on the bottom of them.
