Just received my new MityVac 7201 fluid extractor today and would really like to straighten out the supplied tubing or replace with something a bit more pliable. The tubing that comes with it is so ridged that if you try to straighten it out at all it will literally pull the unit over.
I'm working on getting rid of some of the coil by using some heat and gentle persuasion without kinking it but wonder if I wouldn't be better off just getting some new tubing that's more flexible. Anyone know of a reason why this would be a bad idea? Mainly plan on using it for oil changes.
