It's completely off topic. I gave a little background and said what I was looking for. If I asked "should I buy more tools or should I buy a tool box to carry my tools from work?". Then his comment would be valid. I am not the ******* for trying to abort this post from going off topic. My point was I was looking for opinions on mobile storage for my tools. Like a specific nice box i know 10 years ago craftsman used to sell this awesome tool tote but i do not see them anymore.
That would work for maybe one set of sockets. Do you know where I could purchase a bulk supply of paper bags?
At this rate I am sure the next helpful post will tell me to weld a trailer hitch to my service cart.
Despite what many people think, they don't have ALL the answers. The advantage of a group like this is the combined brain power. Even if you have a specific problem you want solved, there might be some alternate solutions you haven't even thought of. That someone would take the time to offer them to you is laudable, not a chance for criticism. A question in a public forum will result in many off the point responses. Pick the ones you need and let the others go.
And since you buy only the best tools, you probably won't be happy with anything but the best portable box. Get a SO. And off topic, if the size and weight of the quality box and the tools is too much, think of a collapsible rolling cart to tote it. Or how about some dividers or small organizational boxes or tool rolls to put in your tool bag? Let people help you think outside the box (Pun intended) and you won't get boxed in (Pun intended again)!
