Can't give you any suggestions without knowing what kind of work you are doing.

But it looks good so far.

maybe if you have access to 120v reliably, add a power strip to hook up more lights and use a extension cord kind of like how ron paulk does on his mobile woodshop.

and also they are constantly updating fridges to be more efficient so it might be worth looking up if they have made a better new one, and like you said getting solar panels would be worthwile.

its in the youtube link i posted about ~13:50 in. he just has a 100 foot extension cord on a garden hose reel that passes through the side of his trailer and then plugs it into a junction box with a built in breaker box, i think its called a gfci circuit?

Solar on the roof to keep the batts up. LEDs for lower power consumption.

You guys have some awesome trucks there.

also do you ever have a problem of the drawers coming open and tools going everywhere after you drive around in it?

I would mount a getset on the tongue bit noisy but better to have that power at hand.

We had a propane powered Honda we used on jobsites without power.

for the tool boxes, what if you added some flush mounted d rings on the floor and some d rings on the wall above the tool boxes, and use those yellow pull straps to cinch it down, not the ratcheting type but the kind you just pull tight so you dont over tighten it and bend your tool box any, just enough so the drawers wont come flying out.

Straps or a steel rod or something.

... and if the toolboxes are staying there ... I would probably remove the casters.

As for your lighting problem,

... How about reducing your dependancy on electrics - and put some sky lights in ??

Maybe the caravan type or something ??

I agree, you need a generator, I know a lot of British Telecom and Railway trucks over here have an external compartment with a small generator built in, exhaust is often routed up to roof height so the fumes disperse and louvres in the door for cooling/air entry or even an external air supply.
