Just did a quick little project that will help me no end. Due to lack of space, everything in my shop has to be mobile. My drill press, one of at least, has been holding out for a while. I have been moving it with a hand truck which gave me the idea.
All I used was a piece of angle iron (bed frame) and a couple of castors. I got carried away and forgot to take pictures but the finished product is hopefully good enough. No close up on my welding until I am much better.
2 x 7/16th bolts and it attaches to the front of the base. Tilt it towards me and the wheels are on the ground for easy moving.
