Can anyone tell me what the modern replacement would be for this old ball bearing (probably from late 1930s?
It is an SKF and has "No FL-15" stamped on it. Also has stamped "Made in USA",
on the inner ring it looks like it has "DC" and "15"

Give me the measurements (in millimeters) and I'll give you the part number.

1. Inside Diameter
2. Outside Diameter
3. Width

No is shorthand for number: so its PN FL15.

NTN looks to have what you need:

8502 and 87500 are extended inner race bearings

The fl15 doesn't appear to have a extended inner race.
This one should do?

It should be a extended inner race as well, the drawing is questionable.

Outer = 35.05 mm = 1.3799"
Inner = 14.96 mm = 0.5889"
Width = 12.35 mm = 0.4862"

I think your caliper might be reading a slightly wider than it should be.

1622 is the size I came up with.
