My building was 30 x 64 it was going to be a monolithic pour but way too much concrete. There was something like 56 yards of concrete so we went with the footers at 48" deep and put 2" of foam on the inside of the footers all around to try to keep heat in. 10mil plastic on the floor and then about 5" of concrete. That was 20+ years ago and not a crack other than at the expansion cut lines. I originally was going to go with radiant heating but went with Natural forced air and A/C. It a very large building to heat - no windows, two man doors and one overhead door with 12' ceilings.
Never had any issue with the floors getting damp and since it is in the middle of a woods, A/C never has been used. Never gets about 75 in there.
