You’re very right. I have no racks for wrenches or pliers. The drawers on my other box were too shallow to stand anything up. I could make more room in the socket drawer with some new trays as well. These photos were also taken while I was moving tools over. I had them in three different boxes since I outgrew my main box. I’ve added to the drawers since the photos were taken.
I think the socket drawer looks decent as is, that is the last thing I would spend money on at this point as what you have looks like it works. If the sockets are jammed in there so tight that you can’t easily grab them it’s also not ideal. I would focus on the wrenches and pliers first.
I like the Ernst wrench racks. The large 16 slot plastic trays in standard and reverse are nice for the main sets and I use their gripper racks for most everything else. Keep in mind that Tekton makes basically identical gripper stubby racks in different configurations for more wrenches than Ernst.

For pliers and screwdrivers I ended up using the Ernst manufacturing trays. My plier drawer is shallow so I can’t stand them up. Not as nice as dedicated trays, but space and cost efficient.

My setup is somewhat crippled by the 24”x24” and 18”x24” drawers. I was going to attach more pictures, but for some reason the site is only allowing me to take and upload one on this post.
