Trying to find a very compact ratchet and socket case or holder to save space and weight in my go-n-fix-it bag. smaller jobs only so 1/4" or 3/8" size most likely the kind needed.
any ideas?
i saw one manufacturer (teng tools) that actually has made the idea i had several years ago myself.. one of those "why dont anyone make one like this"
http://catalogue.tengtools.com/webs...at_bid=T20&dokid=5285996&katnr=1&katsektnr=48
are there any other manufacturers that make something similar?
as general observation..
it seems many of the "good" makers make their cases big and spacious and just waste the real estate inside there. if one would want a lot of tools in small case, you can only find it from the bargain junk toolsets. and in those. tools are well.. junk. and the case is often also subpar quality. (and if you would like to put your better tools in there the case is heatmolded only to fit the shape and size of their tools, not the ones you want to put in there)

teng tools. if you have never heard of them. tools are designed in sweden and made in taiwan. been around since early 90s if i recall right. aimed more into industrial markets in europe so they are not a bad quality tools.
