You guys with the giant garages make me jealous.

It definitely gets cramped during large overhauls and I wish I had more work surfaces.

My current shed, still very much a work in progress, but there are now 3 of my 4 bikes in there.

What year is the Fireblade? I had a 94 (second production year here, although Honda didn't call them fireblades here).

Does it have the 16 inch front? Is it hard to find tires now?

It's a '95, so still a CBR900RR (SC28) with the original frame and engine, but I think in '94 they put the (in my opinion, better looking) foxeye style bodywork.

Plenty of.companies still do tyres, yes you don't have the same range of choice, but the notion that you "can't" get good tyres for the 16" is a fallacy.

Are those bi-fold doors?

No, they'll be normal French-door style opening, I just haven't hung them all yet (need to glaze and paint them first).

I put this in my build thread but figured I'd finally contribute here...

I may have already posted to this thread, but a lot's changed.

This is with just the MR16s on:

With the real lights on:
View media item 39059Cabinets were given to me by a friend of mine who pulled them out of his office break room during a remodel. I'd love to build some bigger and deeper ones, but until that happens these are nice to have.

What my friends have called The Barber (Motorsprts museum) Wall:

The work wall:

The 360 in the attic:

And some of my favorite details:

My "spare" and the obligatory plate collection

My favorite poster, hung over the breaker plate

They're mush easier to tune like this.

I tried to post this on my own thread. But apparently my blog's been hacked and is distributing malware of some sort. I'll have to figure out how to get rid of that soon.

thanks

Love the garage, very clean. I thought the CB in the background looked familiar. I may or may not have had this pic as my desktop background at one point.

Not a great shot, but here's mine.

How do the 2 dualsports get along?? :)

Love the 990 - would be great to see a close up of your tool tubes and how you attached them - never seen that before! Seems like a great spot.

I have a 950 and on ADV as well.

Best,
Matthew.

Hers and mine :)

The tool tubes are attached with o-rings to the engine guards. There are pieces of bicycle tubing underneath the o-rings to protect the guards. They are wired up with small locks and cable to keep them somewhat safe.

The tool tubes house a 21" tube, tire irons, electrical wiring, jbweld, etc. We're essentially self-sufficient when on the road.

WOWW!!! Wood floor? How is it holding up?
I tought of an expoxy flooring but that is a neat setup!

NICE BIKE!

What size is your place?

Thank you !

11.5'x12.5' (3.5 x 3.8 m)
Floor is "recycled" laminate flooring from the house. If you let fall a hammer from 1m height it will damage it, otherwise it's nice !
