How did you fashion up the drain pan and pedestal under the vice? I've been meaning to do something similar for fork/shock bleeding and disassembly.

The very bottom is 2x4’s cut at an angle then capped with plywood, the pan is a lid from a storage tote with a hole cut in the rear corner that drains to a small funnel and tubing to a milk jug.
The pedestal is made from 2x6’s again cut at an angle to level then capped with ¾ plywood. I wrapped the thing in some light aluminum coil like used on a roof . Then used threaded rod to mount the vice through everything to secure it to the bench.

It was VERY cost effective to do and sure has made it a lot nicer when doing My suspension work. Think I came up with it 8 to 10 years ago.

If You have any other questions, just send Me a PM !

Good idea, I happen to have a polished aluminum wheel and tire from a previous project that I've been wondering what to do with.

I added some bling to the motorcycle shop. I had a logo made of all of the motorcycle brands I have owned and put them on the walls.

Here's Mine. Small 18' x 20' double in a new subdivision. Budget build with lots of Kijiji and free cycle finds. I guess it classifies as a motorcycle garage since I have designated spaces for my 3 street bikes but have yet to park a car in it.

Here is my humble 17x24 with 7 bikes stuffed in it. With a little work I can get 9 or 10 in. It doesn't look like much, but I put a lot of bikes through it.
The last picture is the pad where a 32x40 is going "sometime in September". Guess I need to call the builder!

In case anyone wants to build a simple and inexpensive bike work/build table, here is a write up with plans link:

It is just one sheet of plywood and (7) 2x3's

Thank you....I am indeed not the one and only Wes Cooley..... :) the closest I have come to being him is that I just bought and am fixing up an 80 gs1000s...also known as the Wes Cooley replica bike.

That's a **** GS. I'm into the 1991-94 ZX7R's (Homologation bikes) and Oil Cooled GSXR's but I've been known to work on an old GS or two.

This was my first garage, a one car garage that would always have a car in it at night so it had to be set up so that I could work in it after work, then put everything away so that I could bring the car in before going to bed.

I wanted maximum floor space so I built what I call inverted cabinets.
The deepest cabinet up high and then staggered to the narrowest down low.

Those pictures are when we put the house on the market and I had moved everything to my new 2 car shop.

This is what it looked like before moving out...

Just to bump this thread back to the top for a few minutes...

I posted this morning about adding more storage and rather than repeat it all here,
I will just give you a link to the post:

Need more storage?
