Thanks... recently took a photo at night when my dad and I rode across TX Hill Country for a few days. It shows the paint better. The guys at www.CustomFlamePainting.com did it and did a great job.

My Paw has the True Fire from Pevito in Bridge City, TX. It's the best True Fire I've seen. A bit biased though I suppose... Haha...

Here's my black bottom with gray top... Orange stripe still remains to be applied. Going to let the paint dry for a while before taping it off.

I still have some corner molds and trim work to do and then some Peg board under my cabinets. I have a wire in the wall I need to pull out to wire up my Electrical strip to plug in my lights, etc.

I still have one cabinet that I need to get that will stow all of my loose items and the plywood is going to storage...

Gunslinger......did you ever have a problem with your rear cyl head pipe? Mine cracked where it bolts to the starter and Rinehart sent me the new updated version. Mine is a 04 RK but I bought my pipes in 03 before my bike was delivered.

I noticed the bikes look cool when they are all on their stands with the front wheels lined up. It was hard to get the exact angle.

Currently the only bike in my garage, thats excluding a bunch of push bikes.

BMW R1200GS.

The contents of the garage changes all the time.

Mostly I will have a large BMW GS , as Nicola and I are both large, and at our age, comfort has come intot he equation.

Right now, living under a blanket with a dead battery due to under use, the other toys have kept me too busy this year.

My old 1150GS, which I still miss. Perfect bike for me.

This was a drop due to losing concentration.... simple.

Previous year, on this ride 6 of us, all 2 up on 1150's got caught out in the mountains by rain, and clay tracks.
Pic taken when we rejoined a road. At this point I had dropped my bike about 15 times, in spite of riding since age 14, and at that point being 36-ish.

This was in England, I always wanted a 1000GS Bumblebee

Aprilia 600 with Rotax power, turned it into a bush bike, not bad.

That is a Ranger RML 750 HD

They currently sell for $1,090 but well worth it. It comes with the side extensions and the two metal poles that are useful for holding up the back of the bike - like in my pic. Also it has retractable casters so you can move the lift around while it is loaded:

Another thing I like about it - it has a frame that sits on the ground and doesn't move. Most of the lift tables use a scissor type action and the bottom supports get closer together when the lift goes up. I have no problem getting up on the table with the bike and working on it - it is very stable. I think the shipping weight is around 700lbs!

Love the Service Honda, I have been thinking about buying or making my own "beer can" 500. Years ago I raced a CR500 and can just imagine what a hoot to ride if it was in a modern frame. Good stuff, tell us more about it with detailed pics.

Before and After Pics: Had the garage opening enlarged from 8' X 7' to 16' X 8', insulation and drywall installed on one wall and double insulated garage door. Plan on putting down a black/ orange vct floor in the spring. Bikes are dusty in the new pics from the drywall dust ( but not for long!). Garage size is 20' X 20' and my wife bought the Gladiator cabinets. Plan on getting one more tall cabinet, black blinds, and diamond plate threshold. Our original plan was just new siding and windows, then things snowballed.

Sorry I missed your question - I just now saw it

Yes to both questions. If you look at the lower left corner in the pic, you will see a silver colored object - that is the head of a large hex bolt. There is one in each corner although the ones in the rear of the lift are completely recessed. The give you a T wrench and you simply screw the bolt in or out which raises or lowers the caster.

Again this lift weighs over 600 lbs by itself (shipping weight is 734). I have had my ST1300 on it which is around 700 lbs and I can move it around pretty easily. On the Ranger website, it says you can move the lift with the caster even when it is loaded to capacity - which is 1500 lbs. Also, the casters can swivel/move in any direction
