If the pics of the guys working were from January, that means you have just been teasing us by showing only a few pics/stages at a time. Now come on, quit holdin out on us! looks awesome though.

Wanted to see what you guys think .. looking for some input here on the far wall. What should be done on this wall for cabinets?

Thanks.

Great space! I've been super happy with my Moduline cabinets. They come in all kinds of colors (although I went with black) as you can see in my pics.

Possibly an opportunity to add some color to that wall..say gloss red? :)

Honda East....do you live close to them? If so, I'm about 50 miles west of you. Sweet shop also. My brother started doing track days at Mid-Ohio after retiring from off-road racing. I still like to kick up the dirt chasing my son around.

Cool on the Moduline cabinets. Those are really nice.

I've been thinking of some color. Possibly a red and orange vertical stripe to go with our team colors possibly ..

About an hour and a half, so not far. Yes, great shop for sure. We're able to send a lot of people there to buy bikes because of how great their pricing and service are.

Nice on Mid-O. I was there a few weeks ago and am hoping to go next Monday for some track time before we race there. Great track layout.

Haha. I didn't get too many more pics of the prep work as I was busy doing the work as well. Here are some other photos though of the bike at the end of 2012 and the start of this season.

Derrick - dug up some photos I forgot about from mounting the new bodywork over the winter.

Sharkskinz bodywork out of the box from shipping:

We mount the bodywork first, then send out for paint.

Drilling holes for the tail sections. Some come already pre-drilled:

Our 2012 bodywork next to the new stuff:

Rivets, Dzus fasteners and R-clips make just about everything quick release:

Mounted and ready for paint:

Like anything, the prep time here makes getting the bodywork on and off easier down the road:

Thanks guys. Here are a couple (poor) photos of the front wall and custom-built clock with a chain and sprocket of mine:

Front speakers, center channel and power/HDMI for eventual TV:

I found the largest sprocket possible. Coincidentally it lines up perfect with the 12 holes:

Start of the toolbox. Nothing special yet, as the tool collection is just getting started.

Not shown are a set of Milbar safety wire pliers. Much better than anything else I've used before.

Thanks.

why is there a Honda sticker on your Yamaha? Looks like it says Honda East Racing?

Good question. Honda East sells Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki, Kawasaki, Aprilia, etc. But all of their branding is under the name "Honda East" - how they started out. They didn't want "Yamaha East" on the side of the bike as that would confuse people more on the actual dealership name.

If nothing else, people remember the dealership name after asking the question, so I suppose the marketing aspect is working. :D

Thanks guys.

Dang this is a sweeeet space. Well done! How much of this did you have thought out before you started working?

All of it, for the most part. I have a pad of paper with notes and crappy drawings from each phase of the project. Some of it changed/evolved, but it helped me plan it better, I felt.

Awesome stuff in here. Honda East sponsorship and Michigan winters... probably aren't too far from me! (I'm in the A2 area).

lovin the build! I work at Schiets Motorsoprts in Fremont (part time, its my stress reliever from my engineering job and my discount on parts, LOL). I live by Port Clinton. You have given me a few good ideas as I am currently renovating my garage! Good luck this season and keep rubber side down!!

Love the clock. Care to endulge us on the sprocket part# and where you got the clock?

That's the biggest sprocket I could find from Pit Bull, who sponsors us with stands and sprockets for the bikes. I believe that's from a Kawasaki ZX10 if I'm not mistaken. www.pit-bull.com.

As for the clock, Recycle Clocks helped put it together. I provided the sprocket/chain and they added the timing hands/clock mechanism.

Ask for Michole.
