My neighbour has a '81 CJ & wants to mount a front mount blade on it & we're wondering if anyone has done so & what was used for material & design for mounting brackets

We "think" we have the front bracket figured out (done & installed) but are having some challenges figuring out the rear mount & the connecting material

Any ideas, measurements &/or photos will be greatly appreaicated

Thanks

I put a plow on a '97 TJ and it was a bracket the bolted to the front frame rails, using the steering box bolts on the left side.

The bracket was 1/4" steel with a 2" x 1/4" wall square tube spanning between. There were "U" brackets welded to the front side of the tube for receiving the plow yoke.

I had to make my own brackets (that bolted to the front frame after removing the bumper) to hold the hydraulic unit.

We got it figured out & done, appears to work well, likely over built it but better than having it fall off :) :), thanks for the suggestions
