Is it permissable to move a factory lug in a panel?

Installed the panel last weekend, last night I was tinkering...installed the ground bar and lug..got to lookin and thinkin it would be easiest if I moved the Neutral lug down to the bottom of one of the bars (bottom feeding my panel). When I pulled the set screw I noticed they attached that lug with a Torx...no biggie tool wise for me, but got to thinkin maybe theres a reason they wont want it moved.
What I'm thinkin is I put the ground lug at the bottom of the new bar, move the neutral down to the bottom and then loop the 2 hots up and around on top.

2 Pix attached...one is of my panel installed...the other is a random pic I found online and edited quickly to illustrate what I mean.

Turn the entire panel over with the main breaker on the bottom... Then you don't have to loop the hots or move any lugs.

I thought about that...one of my buddies has his that way...My OCD dictates the Main is at the top... :lol_hitti Dont ask me why...I just think "thats the way it should be"

I have used a panel like that "upside down" that passed with no problem.

As I understand it-
IF the main breaker handle moves horizontal it can be used any way.
IF the breaker handle moves vertically, up must be on and down must be off.

OCD is my own Obsessive Compuslive Desire for things to be "Just so"...No inspection, no code here. I could mount it sideways and inside out if I wanted too. I just think it "looks better" and "It should be" with the main at the top...

Think of it this way, you want the INSIDE of the panel to look good. That will happen if you put the main at the bottom.
