Hi all! Have been reading posts and research and opinions here for quite some time and it's all been very helpful, do THANK YOU!!
I live in Indy, so I have the benefit of going to Greg Smith Equipment and look at their lifts first hand. After a bunch of research and waffling back and forth, I decided on the Bendpak HD-9 vs. the 408-SL. My struggle was that I was really trying to justify the $500 extra for the Bendpak. I'm not sure I ever reconciled that part, but the wife asked a bunch of questions and the certifications and the air lock releases tilted me to the HD.
So, prep has begun! 220 in:

Next is the outlet up on the ceiling for my Liftmaster 8500:

Then garage guys will be here to switch the door to high rise. They will do it for $350 which I thought was spot on and reasonable and it's the guys who originally installed our doors and lifts from the builder.
Two questions as opinion requests. There are short poured "walls" below our drywall which is nice to prevent water damage. The first question is:
1) Should I epoxy the floor before the lift installation or wait until after? I will have the castors and I thought it might be better to wait until after the lift is built to avoid possible damage during installation.
2) Should I also epoxy these short "walls" for a consistent look? If so, how do I do the flake on a vertical surface?

Thanks again for all the great content!!
