Have you decided what you were gonna put on the walls? Or did I miss that.
Deal is a deal...I went with OSB 1/2” in ceilings and 7/16” on walls all screwed, but might change it later in life if it gives me issues...
Untitled by Polisher Detailing, on Flickrgreen2kgt - White paint would go a long way towards improving lighting in that space. All that light sucking OSB makes me cringe.
Mine is all painted white with Kilz
I really enjoy it, here's the other half.

Our realtor told us that doing something that would increase value and/or make for quicker sell if we have to move in a few years. Before you couldn't even make it out there on foot the forest was so dense. He also told me that building a garage was sort of lost money, no real increase in value.
Thats crazy the garage doesnt add value...
Not a lot of people care about a second garage. Hell, most people use their first garage as just storage. You know, keep your expensive car outside but put your crappy walmart lawn furniture inside.... I guess it would be like if you are comparing two identical houses; one is a 3 bedroom 3-1/2 bath and the other is $20K more, 3 bedroom 5-1/2 bath. Does anyone really care about having 2 extra bathrooms? Most people don't. Just like most people won't care about having an extra garage.
Todays progress: I got most of the ceiling up. It doesn't look that great. It didn't turn out the way I wanted it to.Reminds me of a 70s warehouse. Oh well, I guess I will have to just go with it and make the whole thing look likes it out of the 70s or something. I have no pictures, I will just take pictures when the walls are done.
If the man shopping for a house around here sees a detached shop, it always helps ...The guy that appraised my house 2 years ago said my 24x24 added about 10000 to 15000 to my property.
Looks Great!
(except for the cheesy cord mounted light fixtures)
I really like the way it’s coming along...
Don't know if you already mentioned it. Your lights look like they are plug in and you have plugs in your ceiling? Just wondering about that?
Awesome, I finally wired mine last weekend. I put 9 lights in on two circuits, two outside rows on one and center on one.
I wish I was moving along as fast as you. Took me 8 yrs to get it wired, maybe another 8 b4 i get it insulated! LOL!
Awesome job, keep up the work its inspiring!! ;-)

I have all the insulation to do my attic, I just need to finish my ceiling so I can blow it in...just having bad arthritis flare ups lately...
Oh yeah...the “W” word...talking to sisters in northern NB today, they didn’t like seeing me in shorts n t-shirt outside...
That little lift looks really nice.
Well the walls and ceiling are done. This means I no longer have to try to lift those heavy sheets nor do I have to use that sketchy drywall lift that almost killed me twice.
I found some beige thermoplastic rubber based sealant. It matches okay and fills in the voids. It's easy to work with in the corners but I am have a hard time where two **** up. Below is a picture of a caulked corner.

I've been using the piece of staging below to to hold and carry all the wood and trim I have. It's pretty handy. I might keep it set up as a wood rack and self.

Back to work tomorrow so probably not much progress in the next few days.
I missed in your thread where you talked about your lift. Can you provide any more details?
