Any chance of getting some dimensions posted? Bench, loft lengths? I have a 24x24 also and am trying to work out some practicle details on such things.

The eeMax hot water heater!

I like this application. Did you have put the heater on its own circuit? Was it very $$$$$

Yes, heater had to have its own 30amp circuit. The hot water (or warm) was required by the city to get my plumbing inspection. Had it been up to me, I wouldn't have put it in, but now that I have it I wouldn't be able to live without it!
It was around $150 if I remember correctly.

I am getting ready to buy a point of service hot water heater myself. What model did you get? Are you happy with the gpm? Thanks, the timing of this post was great.

To be honest with you, the ONLY reason I bought this thing was to pass the inspection. That being said, I bought the cheapest version they had. It's not a super duper performer, but in the winter months it shields you from the freezing water.

The only thing I really use it for is hand washing, and for that it's great! If I was doing anything above and beyond that it wouldn't work.

My brother is a steel frame building contractor and I've helped him on a few small ones. I would definitely recommend the insulation package on any building in the south. It doesn't cost that much more and will help alot on the heat.

Am I the only one that cannot see pictures from 11-30-2008 to now?

Can't see any pics from the first post, the rest are OK though.

Very cool build, more in line with the spaces we have here in the UK urban areas. I'm hoping to go 22' wide and 30' deep but still working out what can be done on my meagre budget. I think a staged build is called for here.

Hard to tell in the pictures, but the flake colors are white, gray, black and blue metallic. The blue is very subtle, but very cool!!

This is a BLACK epoxy floor if you can't tell from the images. All the inspiration for the color of the floor was taken from E46M3. Ever since I read his writeup on his "M-house" build I have been in love with the black epoxy floor.

I'm sure it will be slick when it's wet. I'll have to see how that goes because it might get too iffy to move the FJR around on. I might have to add something to it if it's too bad.

The product is Epoxy-Coat epoxy and clear top coat.

Thanks for the compliments on the floor. I am really pleased with the way it turned out.

Now I need to focus my attention on those walls!

Great place, but you sold me on those floors! Man that black epoxy looks awesome! How hard is it to find a screw/nut/beertop when you drop it? Thats the first black floor I have seen and man is it nice! I also like how there is a bar in the shop! Good planning!

If you drop something small and black it's not always easy to find :) But it's not all that bad, I haven't had many issues with it. Go search for the "M house" in the gallery. I did mine black after I saw his. Black floors are hands down the best looking floors in my opinion.

The bar is on casters and spins up against the outer wall as well, so I can still pull a car in and work on it if I need to.

I've tried 3 different computers and my Droid X, and no pictures of the floor are showing up. Do you still have pictures of the black epoxy?
