Built this about 5 years ago. It's a 36x60, with 10' ceilings. The first 40' from the doors have standard trusses. The remaining 20' has scissor trusses. I planned to add a 2-post hydraulic lift, but never did.

And a couple pics from just after being built. It's much cleaner now....

Wow! I am in love.

I had poured a huge driveway several years ago which included a 36'x48' monolithic slab with hopes of building my very own dream garage. After the economy collapse several years ago I had to close up my Custom Home Theater business and so went away my plans for the garage. I have been lurking on this site dreaming over the past 6 months and this post really got my interest again in pursuing whatever I need to do to continue where I left off. I have posted some pictures and when I start building I will add to this post. Wish me luck.

You have nice toys and a good home for them. Any future plans for the space?
Not really any plans. Just installed a ceiling in the first part and 10 new lighting fixtures, probably going to do the rest of the ceiling this summer. I normally keep several customers cars or boats in different spots, so I need all the space I can get.

very nice and the trucks look great as well
Thanks :bounce:

How bout some pics of that golf cart?

Side job.... Legally a business, but with no storefront and doors stay locked. I operate from "word-of-mouth", and a cell phone. I'm a dealer for Digital Designs, Wet Sounds, Exile Marine Audio, Shadow-Caster LED lighting, Stinger, PAC, Clifford, Pioneer, Clarion, Rough Country, and a few others. I worked in a few different shops back in the late 90's and early 00's before car audio died off. That's when I got the job that I work now, which is on a swing shift, so I'm off half off the month making it easier to do installs during the week.

Thanks for all the kind words!

I'm looking for money to buy a house, and you're spending money on modified golf carts :)

I like it! It looks very close to the shop I'd like to start this year. The town I'm in limits outbuilding height to 10-foot sidewalls and a 17-foot overall height - it looks like yours is close to that?
