My first made in China Craftsman tool

I'm hoping the same thing. But it looks like the writing is on the wall. Unfortunately Chinese Craftsman seems to be where they are headed

They will have to change their mind if nobody buys them.
I don't mind if they call it by a different name, like Companion, but the Craftsman line should remain made in USA.

I saw them in the flyer and thought about buying one to put in my turnout gear. But now that i see it's made in china, I'll pass, no thanks.


Maybe the reason it's made in china is that no US tool maker wanted to make the goofy thing. Any bets on how long the ears holding the socket head will last with a fairly tight bolt?
