Brick veneer would be more 'in keeping' than wallpaper.

Roger, i was working on a job in Westburry back a number of years ago and we had the problem where the client wanted brick surrounding the outside of the dormer windows after the roof had been constructed and we had no structural support to start building brick so we went to the like of Jewsons i think it was and got brick faces and stuck them onto plywood and then used grey silicone as the mortor joint and screwed them to the dormers.
Worked out great but for what you want could be expensive.
Since then i have heard of boards you can buy that allready have this done but im not sure where you could pick them up.
Just out of interest what is the actual dimensions of you new garage? ive seen its 660 sq ft? im looking to put up a garage in the summer time when i start building my house but still undecided on the size.

I bought a house in Albuquerque many years ago that had a faux brick wall about 20 feet long and 8 feet high. The bricks were about 3/8" in thick. When I took them down I discovered they were plaster of paris. Subsequently, when I was cleaning up in the garage I found a brick mould. Apparently the previous homeowner had made the faux bricks three at a time and hand painted them. It was an impressive effort but they had to go.
Even so, this might be an option for you. Something to keep you productive and inside out of the cold, wet English winter.
I did a little web searching and for about 20 pounds you can get a set of molds through eBay.UK . http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/20-pcs-Pl...ncrete-plaster-wall-brick-tiles-/181823134629
Yes, some merchants call them that. I think brick veneer refers to a larger panel of brick slips on a mesh backing, like a mosaic tile but bigger.Hi Pete, never heard of brick veneer. You can buy brick slips here, like just he face of a brick. Is that what you mean?

Just checking in on your progress, your build is coming along well.
I especially like your choice of tile for the floor.

Thanks
I really am pleased with the floor

Can I recommend you bring clothes for all 4 seasons.
Enjoy your trip.![]()
Ahhh, Melbourne. The old "all 4 seasons in a day" saying. Heard that a few times![]()

Nice bits of kit!

I too, find "man cave" derogatory. First of all, many of those occupying said space aren't so distinguishable as men.No problem with that. Be my guest.I too find the "man cave" phrase mildly irritating. I think GAB is much more apropiate over here.
