I figured I would finally start a thread to track my progress in my garage. I purchased this house about a year and a half ago. Most my time is spent in my garage working on cars and bikes so my main goal with the garage is just to make it very usable space. In the winter I need to store my summer car and motorcycle so I want to get the most out of the open space as I can.

Future plans:
Larger workbench on the back wall
Better lighting
tire machine/balancer
insulation

Couple pics of my garage interior:

Early in 2013 I paved the driveway

Then Late in 2013 I installed an in-floor scissor lift:
With only a 25x29 garage I didn't want a post in the middle of it and I spend most of me free time working on cars, mostly s2000's, and occasionally bikes. I originally tried to get an Ever-eternal EE6503 lift but had quite a few difficulties with getting one over seas (I think a lot has changed in the past few years). I ended up buying this Mohawk lift off a buddy of mine, used but much better quality and American made. Very happy with it and it has a nice distribution block so I can only raise/lower one side at a time if I want to use it for bikes as well.

here is a pictorial of my Mohawk TSL-7 full rise scissor lift install. Still needs the finishing touches but it's 95% complete right now.

After the lift went in my next step was to get some shop air. I got all of this installed over the past week. I used the 3/4" maxline and it came out pretty great. All that is left to do now is wire it up.

You don't really need 3 S2k's. I'll gladly take one off your hands.
I sold the yellow one and the red one, but don't worry i'll have more soon if you want to buy one. I'm always picking them up and working on them

Nice work. Hope the cement truck didn't "mess up" the new asphalt!?!
driveway was done after the cement was poured, it's just that my lift wasn't into the pit and finished until after the driveway got done.

Love the Honda S-2000's...especially the yellow one.

My ex-wife got our yellow '05 S-2000 in the divorce.

It had the factory aluminum (matching color, special ordered) hardtop and everything.

I loved driving that car...sigh.

Now I have to settle for an '03 Mustang Cobra, factory supercharged convertible...fast and fun but it aint no Honda. :dunno:

I've currently got the back wall of the garage all cleaned up. I'm going to build a workbench starting a few feet away from stove all the way over to the wall, roughy 10'.

Workbench all framed up and bottom shelf on. I found some bowling lanes for sale about 2 hours from me so I'm taking a ride tomorrow to get a nice butcherblock top

I have not updated this in a LONG time so here is a few updates...

new machines

new box and scanner

i came up with a wall mounting solution for these wheel dollies

...And the BEST update. (8) T8 48" fixtures and 5000k LED bulbs. It's light daylight now inside my garage.
