Wow, what a transformation! Very nice place! Never thought it would end up this nice.

The porsche logo's are very cool to.

Congrats on the build and have fun in your new 'wrenching heaven'.

What a great space you have created!

Maybe I missed where you obtained the floor crests. I'd like to add to my shop space too.

Thanks again for sharing your progress.

Ody.

Dan Porter at Magnagrafik cut the vinyl for me. I’ve used him in the past for graphics on my race cars and highly recommend his services. The crests were made with vinyl specifically for floor applications.

Can't wait to see those cabinets unpacked and set up. Oh no, you got some dirt on that beautiful floor! :scared:

Cabinet installation has been taking a little longer than I expected. We had to do some work prepping the walls and smoothing out rough spots so that the cabinets could hang flush. Hopefully they will be all hung by tomorrow. Last step will be fitting the light guards and installing the LED lights under the upper cabinets.

Since the workshop is a former reservoir with only the garage door opening for ventilation, I am installing an exhaust fan by repurposing the original manhole opening in the ceiling. The unit is a 5,000 CFM industrial fan, which should recirculate the air in the shop every 8 minutes. We are running power down to a switch at ground level to activate the fan only when I am in the shop.

Once this is complete, I will look to add an industrial-sized dehumidifier unit as well but still need to work out where to expell the water.

Garage renovation is finally complete. I am in the process of organizing and storing everything but the work is finally finished. Here's a couple of before and after pictures:

Love it!!!!

I've got a SP1 that I race mostly in Texas. Still trying to learn how to drive it fast as it's so much different from a long hood 911.
