Very cool looking.. I've thought about doin something like this too. I have the toe plates for the front, but I'd like to be able to measure camber too.
Good work. Longacre Racing wants $129 for their similar version, and it doesn't include the guage. If I may ask, what did you do to fasten the level to the adapter.Did you slot the ends so you can use tape measures to check toe, also?
Sound good Paul! Looking forward to more updates..
That's awesome! We want pics of the Camaro out of the garage!
Just went through the whole thread. Awesome transformation. Fellow Camaro guy here. Where did you purchase the Garagetrax flooring? I went back through the thread but did not see if you mentioned it.
Thanks n2ocamaro, What year do you have?
I bought the floor from this site, they have the best price I have seen.

Beautiful day today so we went out and enjoyed the day and the car.
Don't feel like working on it today just driving it.

Paul,
Spent an hour or two going through your entire thread. Simply great job. Huge congratulations. Mind if I ask a few questions?
- What wood (I assume) is under the stainless bench tops? How is it fastened to the chests below or is it just gravity?
- Have you considered painting the other Craftsman chest carcass red to match your taller unit? I plan to buy the same Harbor Frieght wall cabinets you have and do the red/black two tone scheme on them.
- I have a very low ceiling in my shop - closer to 7ft. than 8ft. and I need new lighting. Currently there are ancient 8ft fluorescent units in there. Do you think your HD units would work in the situation?
No idea how I've missed this transformation thread before today! I just love it!
So whenever I see a beautiful space like this, I've got to wonder how you were mentally able to let your garage get to the state it was in in the beginning. Haha I don't mean to offend, but you seem like the type of guy that is quite organized, so what happened dude?? (I will accept the answer of: LIFE.)

Anyway, you killed it with this space man. It's awesome and I'm now subscribed.
Thanks diggler306, I appreciate it.
To answer your's and Rick's question, you first have to realize that both the Camaro and the garage where in bad shape when I got them. They sort of matched pretty well. As I started to tear into the Camaro and restore it, I also started to visit a web site called Pro-touring.com. The original goal for the Camaro started out as a simple rebuild back to stock with a few small upgrades. Visiting Pro-touring.com made me want more for the car. As the car started to get better and better it made the garage look like a turd. I started looking for a few small upgrade for the garage and then, I found GarageJournal.com. As Pro-touring.com made me want more for my car, GarageJournal.com made me want more for my garage. Like the car, what started out as a few small upgrades turned into a full blown renovation. I am thrilled to have found both web sites because now I not only have the best hotrod I have ever owned(and I've had about 20 of them) but I have the best garage and workspace I have ever had. I'm having the time of my life.
I also truly believe that both these projects have expanded my skill sets immensely. I hope this gives you a little insight into my journey, and it's definitly not over yet. It has only just begun.
Have a great one guy's and thanks for all your support, guidance, and friendship.

Awesome garage build, I really really really need to get back to work on mine
I also love using the POD idea, one of the things I was concerned with was when I go to do my floors I have ALOT of stuff to move out and the POD might be a good choice to help with this.
