Weekend update!
Had to go to FL (booooo) end of last week for work, got back Friday night in time to have dinner with the wife. Saturday the weather wasn't looking the best, so had a slow morning then headed to the garage to see what I could get into with the white car. Sunday was looking nice, so figured i could get the car washed and ready for a cut/buff/wax on Sunday.
After a good bath, back in the garage it went to start cleaning the little nooks and crannies, biggest mess was the small area under the top of the hatch, looked like it had never been cleaned

(of course forgot to take a before photo)
After photo is rewarding though!

Buffing finished, back in the garage for a cool down before wax application, seemed like a good time to reinstall the missing TDi badge!

A buddy and his wife stopped by so I had an extra set of hands to help with the bumper, so stuck it on....Unfortunately it looks like the passengers side is out of a groove, it needs some adjustment.
But, overall the paint has cleaned up nicely and it coming back together

In other news, I took the drivers seat to a local upholstery shop to see if they could fix the outer bolster....He seemed confident, and I have to admit, he did a good job. Its not a perfect match, but I think with a little time it will be come less and less noticeable
