I am still alive but have spent three of the first five months of 2018 in the hospital. I just got out of the hospital on Wed 6/26, it is great to be home. Needless to say no progress to be made in the shop. I have about three or four months of recovery time so here again not a whole lot of progress in the shop.
I will not bore you with any more info.

I hope your health issues will clear up
This is my first post here...I can relate a bit to your problems as in May I had my left knee replaced. It is coming along but it is holding me back from doing a lot of things.
This getting older is not for the faint of heart.
I also have a shoulder replacment in my future.
Take care and I hope you get better soon.

Let me start by saying thank you to everyone here that encouraged and chatted with Walt, he really enjoyed this site. I just came across his garage build and wanted to update everyone. Walt was my father in law. He passed away from complications with his cancer August of last year. He was a great man and we all miss him dearly. I would like to continue his build and try to keep his dream alive. My wife and I recently moved out here to Tennessee to help care for his wife/my mother in law. We were going to move her closer to us in California but after visiting here we decided to stay. I thought it would be a shame not to give Tennessee a shot and keep his dream alive. I will post up some recent pics soon. Thank you all

Welcome to GJ Pat, sorry for your loss. I enjoyed Walt's posts. I hope when I am his age I will still be willing to take on projects like his. He was an inspiration. Thanks for the info, keep the build going. ~Ron~

So sorry to hear of Walt's passing. I followed this thread, but I don't think I ever posted. As I read, I would smile and shake my head at Walt's positive attitude and perseverance.
