Thanks for a the kind words, I'm located in southern ontario. Flamborough, just outside of waterdown. I built the shop for the RV to stay in, I'm am a class a mechanic by trade and jack of all trades. Im now doing graphic design, after a career ending injury. So I guess this shop is really all about continuing my journey, store my rv, house all my toys (apparently i have to many according to my other half)
Im looking at how to finish the ceiling inside, I'm looking for that high end look but because of the attic trusses I'm worried that if I drywall it, possibility of it cracking is there. If anyone has images of something stylish please post an image. Im thinking either soffit aluminum or possibly steel panel, and I might consider something dark! just a thought
I figure if i use a rigid material it won't crack, this is my first attic truss shop! also first in floor heating also.
I can't believe I waited so long to try it, its definitely the way to go. Every time I open the door its like getting a big warm hug!! I was going to use batt insulation but decided to go with 3" of 2lb spray foam, this is my third time using it, however this was the biggest project! I hummed and hawd about doing it also because of the expense. Now that it is done the combination of infloor heat and spray foam, was the correct choice. This is my dream shop!
Please feel free to offer suggestions, as most of the finishes now, will be done by me. Walls will be drywall because I want to apply my large format prints to them, again looking for that high end feel.
