Verry impressive! I really like the detail work and the contrasting colors! What kind of work do you plan to do in the shop?

Thanks for a the kind words, I'm located in southern ontario. Flamborough, just outside of waterdown. I built the shop for the RV to stay in, I'm am a class a mechanic by trade and jack of all trades. Im now doing graphic design, after a career ending injury. So I guess this shop is really all about continuing my journey, store my rv, house all my toys (apparently i have to many according to my other half)
Im looking at how to finish the ceiling inside, I'm looking for that high end look but because of the attic trusses I'm worried that if I drywall it, possibility of it cracking is there. If anyone has images of something stylish please post an image. Im thinking either soffit aluminum or possibly steel panel, and I might consider something dark! just a thought
I figure if i use a rigid material it won't crack, this is my first attic truss shop! also first in floor heating also.
I can't believe I waited so long to try it, its definitely the way to go. Every time I open the door its like getting a big warm hug!! I was going to use batt insulation but decided to go with 3" of 2lb spray foam, this is my third time using it, however this was the biggest project! I hummed and hawd about doing it also because of the expense. Now that it is done the combination of infloor heat and spray foam, was the correct choice. This is my dream shop!
Please feel free to offer suggestions, as most of the finishes now, will be done by me. Walls will be drywall because I want to apply my large format prints to them, again looking for that high end feel.

beautiful building, and never too late. I like the look of steel building panels on the inside roof, you can get the thin stuff pretty economically and the end result is clean looking and maintenance-free

Not sure if this helps but, I've worked with steel panels, osb and plywood. So far, I give plywood a thumbs up. If you're lucky and can get it off the same loads the colour match will be close. How ever if you have a code requirement, steel works, just stay away from the "too good to be true" on like sales of the cheap stuff. It's made offshore and my experience with it was disappointing. I did buy Canadian made stuff for my second structure and it has been very good to work with, cost was 30% more

I should have added the side finished pics, I took these the other day!

As far as inside this is my second shop, the last one i was working as a mechanic out of! this one will be more detail cars and graphics, Rc cars ect. All my buddies have osb in there pole barns, for the easy of hanging stuff. But hopefully this is my last one, I'm looking for that wow factor.

This project has gone way over budget, lol. But I'm loving the results! My biggest issue with osb or plywood is the weight and the final look. Not that I'm going to be able to afford anything after it is done but, i would like it to look classy and clean yet have all the amenities of a great shop.

The shop does have floor drains and septic already plumbed into the corner for future use upstairs.

Im really leaning towards drywall on the walls (for sure) these will have photos and large format prints done _ its what I do now so why not!

The ceiling is made of attic trusses and second floor will have kitchenette, bathroom just not sure if it will be like an apartment or a mancave. maybe something in the middle

Im open to ideas, i painted my downstairs office ceiling black with open floor joists and 1x1 drywall panels to hold pot lights I will have to take a pic later, however the black paint on wood is a real pain in the a%$, I'm scouring the net for different ideas other than drywall or plywood! thinking something that can take a little movement/ flex (attic trusses) and hopefully be lighter than drywall or plywood.

I do have some large beams I will be including into the inside probably b the stairs, railing is only temporary for the inspections that were happening.

Please post images if you have any ideas?
