I must say when I started thinking I may end up with only an oversized single garage (20x20) and came back to this thread..... I aint worried about the lack of square footage no more!
Well.. the space is relatively small , but it continues to provide a lot of opportunity for the things I like to do .
And thanks for the comments .
This site has been a real source of ideas for me and if I can in some small way provide a little inspiration for others ... I'm flattered ...!

Very nice but to clean for me,my car would want to escape from there its only used to garages that get worked in.

And it's not my wife's junk I have to get out of the garage , it's from 2 sons that are both twenty something , have no reason to leave home and continue to pile up their "valuables" in my future show place !

I've copied so many of details in here it's really pathetic!
I completely plagiarized the cabinet for the compressor and space for my kid's bike.I also used the stainless sheets for my bench top . It was about a quarter of the cost of having on fabricated and it looks great .
My space is also fairly small and 89Vert's really showed many of us how to maximize our square footage .

Wonderful job on your garage; truly impressive. I notice the gas pump is of a later variety which (I think?) should be more available for cheaper than the early pumps which are so popular? I actually have thought of making a faux gas pump out of wood framing using sheet metal from Home Depot, black hose and I'd have to find a nozzle somwhere. Maybe more hassle than its worth, but I have thought of doing it.
Two questions:
Where did you find that pump?
Did you sand between your three coats of floor epoxy or did you just recoat within a certain period of time? What does Rustoleum recommend?
I have a truly old beat up, stained and cracked floor that may not be worth trying to paint. Nevertheless I want to try. I plan on degreasing it (several times), dry it, sand it fully, then acid washing (at least 2x) as you did. But I need to find a truly excellent crack filler that will span a crack probably over 1" at its worst! Maybe just Quikcrete with a bonding agent.

Been away , working in Europe for the last while . Amazing the things you miss when you're over there . Especially the hot rod / car culture . Sure they have some nice rides , but NOTHING compares to an American V8 . Now that I've finished my rant , I'm looking to start a new garage project with my brother and this one's still the benchmark for me for a smaller space !

Too many little cars in Europe. No horsepower and they sound like **** except for a few lambos,ferrarris etc .
i have been looking a several garage specialists in my area and I always show them this example . All of them can't believe that the workmanship and ingenuity came from somebody that doesn't do this for a living . High praise i thought .
