First: My 13 Drawer HF cart finally got some tools migrated over to it. Bought the SAE/Metric socket trays from HF. LOVE them.
Thursday I went to HF and picked up a Red Service cart. I had a $200 gift card from the wifey from Xmas (She went to get me the 2 shelf side cabinet for my roller chest, but they were out).
Fits SNUGGGGGGGGGGGGGLY in my 2000 Civic Hatchback
They had gloss red displayed in the store, so I wasn't sure which model I would get
Turns out I got the gloss. I would have liked it to match my 13 drawer, but the gloss has grown on my already! This thing is AWESOME!
Finally, I've made a few posts regarding a metal cabinet I bought off CL. $40 bucks. A few stickers, knicks, scuffs, and a rusty bottom. All in all a steal.
I finally decided on a paint scheme: Red w/Black doors, identical to a Cman cabinet.
YUCK
Sanded, primed
There are a total of 3 coats of Rustoleum gloss red on it right now. Might go one more tomorrow morning.
I have yet to start on the doors, as this was occupying my saw horses while it dries. Yes it IS only 30deg up here in Ohio, but I figured what the heck. Paint didn't come out tooo bad. I don't believe I let the primer dry long enough and got a little orange peel effect. I figure If it looks that bad after it's done, I'll scuff it up and add 1 more coat this spring, no biggie. The rust is gone, and that was my main concern! The inside of the cabinet is staying tan. I am NOT taking the time to paint the whole inside!
Side note: I hate you GJ, the back wall on my semi-cramped 20x20 is overflowing with tool goodies.
CHEERS!

Whoa. My mistake. Purple text means business!
