I looked at the DIY kits and then I had a pro give me an estimate. He was about the same. And that was before shipping.
I was afraid of that, well not really. Was hoping that I was missing something and could get it done for a better price. At least if I get a professional I know the job is done right for about the same money.
Very nice pics BMW Guy!
A build thread of the 2,7L S14 would be really nice.
I´m also thinking that the newer cars doesn´t do much for me.
Sure it´s nice cars, but without the real BMW spirit...
I plan on doing a build thread on the 2.7l. In the mean while you can check out my other build thread, I have a build thread on my 2.5 l over on S14power.com . You do have to sign up to lurk around. There is also a 19 page thread on my gr.A car in case you are interested. My handle over there is Revmaster T.
The older BMW are great machines with life in them, can't say that from most of the newer BMW models. With there coolant, oil temperature gauge missing and their 15K mile oil changes.
Haha don't tempt me!!!!!!
Acutally, since I'm in Colorado with snowy winters, I wouldn't mind you keeping an eye open for a nice 325iX for me
See I can be pretty convincing at times

If I hear of anything I let you know.
Thanks, it's got around 119k now. My dad has never been scared of driving so it has some miles but we've always kept it covered in the garage when not being driven and its only seen rain a few times. Not a drop from mine either, only problem we've had was a heater core and a faulty electric fan.
That's great, another person that actually drives their pride possession. Most of the people buy these cars and park them in the garage. I didn't have that many problems with my car either, most money I spend on my 8er is on upgrades. Just installed the matching rear BBK to the front. Stops quite nice now.
Thank you for the nice comment jeffmoss, very much appreciated.
I was a Chevy man my whole life, til I bought my wife a 740iL. Damn I loved that car..
Hauled **** for such a tank.. Never raced it against my 96 Impala SS, but I had a feeling
that the SS might not win..

Nice shop...
Funny that you mention that. My wife was a diehard Mercedes girl and I of course a BMW guy. So I got this 740 il for her and she loves that car. I can't pry her out of that car. So she went from Mercedes girl to BMW girl. Not a bad thing if you ask me ............ haha
