Here is my work shop, trying to get better organized, found these work benches at Sams club. They are quite nice considering the cost.

Looks good Bmwguy but I gotta ask where you found that much room in Tampa :D.

Drew Park, also called the old Drew air field. I have 10K square feet of building
or should I say oven, it was hot today.

Rick

Looks good to me, what are you doing to the exhaust?

I made an H-pipe between the two down pipes. Welded in an O2 sensor bung so I can use a WBO2 sensor in that location. What you see on the bench is me smoke testing my work to make sure I have no leaks.

I have plans for one existing room. I would like to air condition it and make it my engine build room.
For now just the office has A/C.

I've been reading on here what the best way would be to insulate the whole building looks like spray foam yields the best results, which seems very expensive, even the DIY spray foam kits.

Many thanks for all the nice comments, much appreciated.
For the most part we perform regular maintenance and repairs on BMW's, Mercedes, Porsche, Audi and VW all nice imports if you will.
WE also have a few customers that have us work on their track cars which is the fun part of our business. Every now and then I can make time to go to the track to with my E30 M3.

Very nice.

One of the most beautiful BMWs ever built:

You know, I'm not a BMW guy (by experience or ownership), but seeing a picture like that makes me want to be. Wouldn't mind picking up a little '89-'90 325 or something:)

Good for you man, I hope it continues to be enjoyable through the years.

Thank you ! And yes I've been able to accomplish that for 30 plus years, so I am feeling blessed.

Awesome pics!

Glad you like them !

The e30 is beautiful. Love the intake on the s14.

Sounds like you know your E30 M3's, I built that engine about 2 years ago. It's a 2,5l gr.A spec engine 12.3:1 CR, 292/312 MS cams making north of 300hp all motor. Actually my engine makes more hp per liter then any Ferrari out there. Next in the making is a 2.7l S14 just waiting on the pistons.

Very nice.

Thank you ! Unfortunately they don't build these cars anymore. I can't say, that I really care to much about all the newer models.

A E30 325 i or even a E36 M3 is a fun car to drive and quite affordable nowadays. There is a ton of aftermarket stuff available for these cars. The sky and your wallet are the limit. BTW, a friend of mine is selling his 97 M3, let me know if I can help you get into a BMW .....

Nice to see another 850 owner, here's a few of teh one I've inherited from my dad.

Your 8er is very nice, my first 8er was Jet black too. Looks good with the 5 series style wheels. How many miles on the clock ? Mine has just turned 179K and still running strong.
There is not one drop of oil or anything leaking from this car.

I looked at the DIY kits and then I had a pro give me an estimate. He was about the same. And that was before shipping.

Very nice pics BMW Guy!
A build thread of the 2,7L S14 would be really nice.
I´m also thinking that the newer cars doesn´t do much for me.
Sure it´s nice cars, but without the real BMW spirit...

Haha don't tempt me!!!!!! :D

Acutally, since I'm in Colorado with snowy winters, I wouldn't mind you keeping an eye open for a nice 325iX for me:beer:

Thanks, it's got around 119k now. My dad has never been scared of driving so it has some miles but we've always kept it covered in the garage when not being driven and its only seen rain a few times. Not a drop from mine either, only problem we've had was a heater core and a faulty electric fan.

Hauled **** for such a tank.. Never raced it against my 96 Impala SS, but I had a feeling
that the SS might not win.. :) Nice shop...

I was afraid of that, well not really. Was hoping that I was missing something and could get it done for a better price. At least if I get a professional I know the job is done right for about the same money.

I plan on doing a build thread on the 2.7l. In the mean while you can check out my other build thread, I have a build thread on my 2.5 l over on S14power.com . You do have to sign up to lurk around. There is also a 19 page thread on my gr.A car in case you are interested. My handle over there is Revmaster T.
The older BMW are great machines with life in them, can't say that from most of the newer BMW models. With there coolant, oil temperature gauge missing and their 15K mile oil changes.

See I can be pretty convincing at times :) If I hear of anything I let you know.

That's great, another person that actually drives their pride possession. Most of the people buy these cars and park them in the garage. I didn't have that many problems with my car either, most money I spend on my 8er is on upgrades. Just installed the matching rear BBK to the front. Stops quite nice now. :pimpflash

Very cool shop and cars!

Thank you for the nice comment jeffmoss, very much appreciated.

Funny that you mention that. My wife was a diehard Mercedes girl and I of course a BMW guy. So I got this 740 il for her and she loves that car. I can't pry her out of that car. So she went from Mercedes girl to BMW girl. Not a bad thing if you ask me ............ haha :D

Love those 8 series Bimmers. I used to work at a body shop in Dallas when I was 19, doing all the gopher stuff and R&I stuff before paint. We got an 850 in one time and lemme tell you, just taking off the front bumper is an adventure on those. This particular one was outfitted with hand controls for a paraplegic!
