I picked this up at an estate sale. Seller didn't know what it was and I didn't either. No identifying marks of any kind on the tool. It weighs almost half a pound.

Does anybody recognize it? For the time being, it is in my drawer with a few other beer bottle openers. Should I polish it or use as is? Would this act get me categorized as a tool polisher? :D

I think that's the invisible ratchet set for use on a flux capacitor that snap-on marketed for a limited time.

No picture showing up for me

Isn't somebody going to chime in about using it in explosive atmospheres since it's brass?

There you go! A non-sparking, explosion proof refreshment entry tool for use in hazardous environments. Bureau of Mines approved.

Very cool tool. I always go through the box of bottle openers at second hand shops.

Powder punches are copper. :D

It must be a sign that you need a beer when the first thing you think of is a bottle opener.

And I too thought bottle opener.
