I got an early peak at the next quarter Real Deals, they have Vessel in there. No clue if the prices are good, but I know some on here like Vessel. Are these prices any good?....tools worth buying?

Cheaper elsewhere but good to know. Curiously, on their site the Vessel screwdrivers come up as Balkamp instead of Vessel. I had to search the part numbers to find them. The Real Deal prices are cheaper than the current Napa prices but they're cheaper elsewhere even with the sale and coupons usually don't combine with sales.

As others have stated price wise can be had cheaper.
Amazon has 8 piece (9008EVA) for $67 & 6 piece (9006PB) for $58.

EDIT;
But glad to see brick and mortar retailer selling quality tools (y):)

Nothing is still JIS standard as it's been superseded by the more universal DIN standard. They do work just as well in JIS screws as the new standard incorporated the JIS specifications. Fear not those are great screwdrivers.

Yep, they're fantastic screwdrivers and the gray impacts are very useful when working on stuff with screws.

Pricing is maybe a wee teense high, but worth it if you prefer to go fondle stuff before you buy, if you like instant gratification, and/or you're just kinda sick of Amazon.

I'm one of those people that likes to handle tools before I buy.

Me too, but that's becoming increasingly more difficult these days. And I gave up on Napa. Their local stores rarely even carry tools and it's not much to choose from when they do. Certainly nothing compared to those sales ad's they put out.

Also there is no way of knowing what store has what. A Napa rep told me awhile back I would have to call each and every store if I wanted to know if they had an item in stock. That's ********.

More on topic, so far I like Vessel. I work mostly on my Nissan these days and I have no complaints. I've got their Impacta line in #2 and #3, their Megadora set (blue-ish/black handles), 2 of their orange handle panel tools and I just ordered the 3-piece orange handle pick set (will be here tomorrow).

Yep, there's a TON of variation in Napa stores. If you go in pointing at something in a flyer, you'll get blank look at most of the hole-in-the-wall shops.

However, here in Indy down by the airport there's a huge regional Napa warehouse with a storefront tacked onto one end. It's open extended hours, and the inventory on site is vast. It's been a lifesaver several times.

Thanks for the tip.

Garage journal ***** yet again. I was hoping to talk my way out of vessel screwdrivers. But it's not working.
This is definitely the wrong place for talking yourself out of buying tools. I think everyone should own the two piece Megadora Impacta phillips set. Vessel is expanding their foothold in the USA nicely.
Your ability to get special order real deals tools from your local NAPA will depend if it's a corporate or franchise location.

NAPA is weird. Here in Phoenix we have a huge NAPA warehouse on Grant Boulevard that services the entire state of Arizona so you can get damn near anything you want but their pricing can be anywhere from good to worse than bad for the Carlyle line. No consistency at all.

I’ve actually had people talk to me about that exact store.

NAPA has a set of five VESSEL ratcheting screw drivers in foam insert for $123, the same set is on amazon for $90.

I think I read in here that the Craftsman impact screwdrivers at Sears are Vessel. I looked at them and was very tempted (nice price as I remember) but couldn't really think of a reason I would need them. I have so many other options that accomplish that same task.

Are they still available? I remember seeing them on sale a long time ago and not getting them. I regret that now!
