I'm one of those people that likes to handle tools before I buy.
Thanks for the tip.Yep, there's a TON of variation in Napa stores. If you go in pointing at something in a flyer, you'll get blank look at most of the hole-in-the-wall shops.
However, here in Indy down by the airport there's a huge regional Napa warehouse with a storefront tacked onto one end. It's open extended hours, and the inventory on site is vast. It's been a lifesaver several times.
This is definitely the wrong place for talking yourself out of buying tools. I think everyone should own the two piece Megadora Impacta phillips set. Vessel is expanding their foothold in the USA nicely.Garage journal ***** yet again. I was hoping to talk my way out of vessel screwdrivers. But it's not working.

I’ve actually had people talk to me about that exact store.Yep, there's a TON of variation in Napa stores. If you go in pointing at something in a flyer, you'll get blank look at most of the hole-in-the-wall shops.

Not uncommon. Balkamp is NAPA's 3rd-party product line.Curiously, on their site the Vessel screwdrivers come up as Balkamp instead of Vessel.
Are they still available? I remember seeing them on sale a long time ago and not getting them. I regret that now!I think I read in here that the Craftsman impact screwdrivers at Sears are Vessel. I looked at them and was very tempted (nice price as I remember) but couldn't really think of a reason I would need them. I have so many other options that accomplish that same task.
