I'd go for the Harbor Freight 1.5 ton personally. I carry one in my Jeep and find it pretty useful.

They go on sale for $59.99 pretty often too.
Jarhead - does this one come with a case?
Do you have a circular saw.Trolley jack it is!
Really want one with a case that can ride in my truck and hopefully will never be used on the side of a road.

Negative. But it’ll serve you better than the trolley jack ever could.
Hey! I have this! A very solid jack. It even has room inside for additional sockets and a breaker bar, which is what I keep in it. Its part of my: "Dad I'm on the side of the road with a flat" kit.
BTW it's much bigger and sturdier than the small walmart trolley jacks.

Thanks for the comments and suggests.
I've got a REAL floor/trolley jack that lives at the house. Forget the brand but I've had it about 20 years. I think it is a 5 ton (or weighs 5 tons) - it is a sturdy sucker.
I want a safe but inexpensive jack that can ride in the enclosed bed of my enclosed pick up truck only to be used if I have a flat on my single axle boat trailer.
I carry an extra scissor jack and a bottle jack in my boat trailer tool box but I want something in a case that will ride in the truck. I thought about building a wooden case or using my old Army duffel bag but I wanted something that was somewhat water resistant.
Thanks for the comments and suggestions.
Please keep them coming.
