Had it for over 30 years. Just used it last week, works perfect.

I'm not sure if there's still a hand held vacuum pump that's made in the USA.

I still like the all metal silverline Mityvac.

Or just buy one of the Chinesium copies on Amazon for $20ish. It will work fine for your needs.

My older all metal Silverline Mityvac says made in China, but they are decent quality.

It looks good and I like OTC generally, but plastic body??

I too have the Mityvac Silverline which is dual purpose with pressure/vacuum, all metal construction and repair parts available for it!!!!

Mityvac Silverline, 100%. There's a switch to change from vacuum to pressure and as has already been stated, they are rebuildable! All metal construction is well worth it if you're going to use it regularly. If you plan on using it just once or twice, the plastic Mityvac's should suffice.
