Looking at getting a new cordless. Gotta be compact (battery in the handle, no bulky battery packs) So I guess I'm looking for stick(?) batteries. I have a craftsman 12v which was fine until I put my new snap on drill bits in it that have enough bite to slip in the chuck. I've had it happen with other bits but the snap on bits are monsters and the drill just cant chuck em worth a *&^#.
Cordless tools are not my are of expertise at all. I'd like a drill and and a screwdriver (must have adjustable torque non impacting) for putting on panels. The screwdriver would just be a kicker to keep me from buying a new one from snap on.
Most important factors
Strong chuck
Fairly fast (mostly aluminum drilling)
No bulky battery
I don't even know where to start looking so I'm putting it in your capable hands gj.
Thanks
