I have someone who wants to buy this antique jack. Any information would be helpful. I didn't include a picture of the face plate that says S1420 floorjack1.jpg

Can you come up with a picture like the last on that does not cut off the information that is cast in there? Do both wheel castings have the same information on them?

The one we have is not hydraulic. It's a mechanical ratchet system. We've had no luck running all theses numbers. It resembles a walker in so many was. That's why the nat.std stamp I believe National could have made these for Walker/Lincoln. Am I on the right path towards identification? I looked at your link and that jack wasn't mechanical like mine. Any more input, I would appreciate. Thanks

I will take more pictures. Yes it says the same on both plates but one is harder to read than the other one. Hopefully I can get the picture in the proper place as I am not use to forums. As it was my husband texted me the pics, I saved them and downloaded to my computer. A whole lot of steps involved and there was probably an easier way. Lol Also please note this is a mechanical jack. Thanks-Sheryl

View attachment 810986 From what we can tell this may be made by National Standard. This is not hydraulic It is mechanical. Any further information would be great! It says the same on both sides as last pic. It's just harder to read on the other side. also did National Standard ever make jacks for Walker. It looks likes Walker. Face plate is stamped S1420 not shown. Thanks - Sheryl P.S. larry_g I could not send the picture you requested and had to start a whole new thread. Thanks. I hope you get this

I don't have your answer but knew that you would get a better answer with the better picture.

From what I see it is a Canadian built jack as it comes from Guelph, Ont. My scroll saw (a beaver) was made there and imported by Montgomery Wards in the 50's. So maybe your came in the same way.
