So I was given this Baldor grinder for free because it didn't work. I though if I can't fix it I could part it out to help save another grinder.
When I plug get it in it just hummed. So I spun the wheels and plugged it in and still just hummed.
Looked in the bottom and I see a loose wire. I don't know where it goes so I touched it to where one of the other field leads was connected. Now it runs slow but it runs.
I suspect there should be a run capacitor between the legs but am not sure. Does anyone know where to get a wiring diagram or does someone have a grinder like this that they could tell me how it should be wired?
