I just bought my first Snap On tool box off of offer up. It is a KRSC33A. Came with both keys and is in great shape for $225.00
What would be the best way to repaint/refinish it?
From what I gather Snap On uses a urethane paint when painting these.
My grandfather owned a body shop for 35 years, so I can prep and wet sand it but I never learned how to paint.
Would you guys rattle can this or take it to a body shop and have it painted?
I'm kind of torn. The cost isn't really a big issue to me having it done at a shop. I could take it to Maccao and have it sprayed for probably $100. I want it to look nice tho and my can control is 50/50 lol
My paint brush control is excellent tho.
The top arrows are rustoleum semi gloss protective enamel. Aside from the one small run it went on great with barely any prep. Good color match.
The bottom arrows is VHT high temp engine enamel.
I think this cart was originally red and someone painted it. I really like the white with red drawers and obviously plan on keeping it this way.

They rino lined the top unfortunately. Planing on ordering nice drawer liners from Snap On.
Found the 3D chrome trim in England.
I appreciate any feedback, thoughts, and opinions guys. Thank you for your time and consideration.
I very much live vicariously thru all of your garage and shop builds. My bachelor pad doesn't have a garage. (Price is too good to move out tho) my current "garage"

If anyone in the Dallas area has a small shop/garage space for sell or lease I have a need.
Let me know..
