Need spdt switch and on off switch with long mounting threads.

I have a 2 speed motor on a craftsman 150 drill press, and I want to mount
a spdt and a on off switch in the casting.
I would rather mount them in the casting if I can find the switch's.
I guess the treaded part need to be about 1/2" long.
I need a spdt and a on off.
Would like them to look the same.
Know anywhere that sells this?
Don't see nothing on e bay.

It does not sound like you are looking for anything unusual, unless you want an exact match to existing components.

Try searching some of these places online to see what they carry that might work. Some may advertise on eBay, but that's not the primary source for most new electronics.

Many aftermarket switches for auto parts are also rated at 120 volts, even though they are sold for use in a car. Switches for off-road lights or high power accessories (e.g., winches) might work if they can handle the amperage.

With a threaded part that's long enough to pass through the casting?

How thick is the casting? A normal toggle should fit unless for some reason that drill press is built with massively thick castings.

I will go measure it.
It is 1/4"
The on off switch I do have from a parts store will fit,
I left it downstairs now. I guess the "stem" l think they call it is about 1/2" long.
But the spdt switch from radio shack is too short.
I don't know if a parts store would have a spdt switch or not.
I will have to check.
Of course some parts stores will not know what a SPDT switch is.

It needs to be satuained contact, either on-on or, on-off-on.

It needs to be sustained contact, either on-on or, on-off-on.

Auto Zone had the twin to this one in a spdt. on-off-on
