Hey guys,
I'm in the market for a cordless drill.
I already have a 1/2" IR 20V cordless impact gun. I purchased a Makita BTW253 3/8" impact gun but I sold it to a friend of mine so I could get the new IR 3/8" drive impact gun. The BTW253 was an amazing 3/8" cordless impact with 155 ft. lb. of torque. I sold it early because he offered to buy it at $50 loss.
So I plan to have powerful cordless tools. My cordless snap-on 1/2" impact is still running strong but I rarely use it because of my IR.
My question is should I go for a Makita/Dewalt/Milwaukee etc... brand for a cordless or Should I get the Snap-on Drill? Or wait for IR to release a 20v cordless drill. So I can have a complete set of cordless tools that use the same battery and charger?
I really do want to wait for a 20V IR drill but I don't know when they will release it. Seeing how they released the 1/2" last year and 3/8" this year the drill could be next year. Anybody know more info on the release dates? Like even the 3/8" isn't available for pre-order
