If those are Wera God only knows why you'd pay more money to have a handle that's a cheap press-fit rather than being properly made, the Kool Aid concentration must be turned right up at the moment, but do Wera actually make a shaft to those specs?

?????

Personally I really like the instinct handles.
Other than that, the warranty has got to be worth something as well.
As soon as the diamond coating gets worn out, email Snap-on and they'll send you a brand new one.

Somebody needs to make a diamond-embedded ACR tip.
That would be bulletproof.

bchee,

Please read my posting (post# 49) of this thread. Wera's "Rocko Series" has both Phillips and slotted tips that have ACR and diamond coating.

Hmm, looks shockingly similar to the Wera set I got for christmas, just a red snap on style instead of green/black Wera handle. And the Wera set stores the bits nicely in the handle.

Interestingly, my Wera diamond tip screwdrivers have round shafts and gold colored ends, whereas the snap ons are hex and black (ish).

I'll probalby stick with paying 70% less and keep getting the Wera ones...:)

Reviving an old thread. Now that the Snap-On Diamond Tip screwdrivers have been out for awhile, wanted to get updated feedback from anyone that has used them.
